About the event
Felting & Hand Stitching is a great solo activity, good for our well-being, which is even better when with others!
This is one of the occasional online sew-along gatherings where you will enjoy demonstrations of both dry needle felting and several hand stitch techniques.
You will be able to just watch or have a go, ask questions, get support and then learn various different techniques for finishing your piece.
There is the option of purchasing a ticket that includes kit to go along with this stitch-along
kit contents:
Lots of wool (with a touch of silk)
Barbed felting needles.
A dense foam pad
Instruction leaflet
Needle and embroidery thread
Beads
Brooch back (has a safety catch to turn)
Blank card (approx. 15 cm square) and matching envelope
(The foam sponge and needle can be kept and used again and the skills learned to apply to other projects).
